To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Southampton-based community radio station, Unity 101, has been hosting a year-long celebration. This features monthly cultural celebrations by the various cultural groups that make up the station’s diverse team. Next up is the African and Caribbean cultural celebration, organised by Unity 101 and African and Caribbean community members.
This free family-friendly event promises to be a celebration of diversity, identity and unity. With traditional music and dance, drumming and storytelling, colourful cultural attire, African and Caribbean foods.
