Nearly one year since Our Version Media became an official community interest company (CIC), we are moving into our new HQ!
Our new home is in Southampton’s newest creative space, MAST Mayflower Studios. MAST Mayflower Studios, owned by Mayflower Theatre, took over the Studio 144 building following the closure of the Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) at the start of the UK lockdown in 2020.

It’s a space our founder, Veronica, is already familiar with, having hosted community events at the former NST, in her role as audience development officer for a black British theatre company.
The partnership also reunites our Community Partnerships Manager, Siontai, with some of her former colleagues. The 23-year-old had worked at the Mayflower Theatre’s Ovation Restaurant for nearly five years, while studying business at university, before the lockdown led to the restaurant’s closure.
Our Version Media is one of six resident companies in MAST’s creative hub. Our super-cool city centre office overlooks the city’s Cultural Quarter.
As part of our residency we will also be working closely with MAST, inviting more of the city’s diverse communities into the space.
We have some great activities planned for the year!
“We’re beyond excited to be a resident partner. MAST embodies everything we’re about – creativity, opportunities, diversity, inclusion, belonging, community and people’s real stories.
“MAST’s central location and beautiful, vibrant space will allow us to widen our community activities and deliver more projects in-house.” Veronica Gordon, Our Version Media.
