In October 2020, Our Version Media’s founder Veronica Gordon was invited to speak at Solent Business School’s event “Black History Month: Diversity and the UK – just how diverse is our business community?”

She appeared alongside Lou Taylor, who owns and runs a company called Streetside Media, and is also the director of Black History Month South CIC. In this Virtual Insight session, chaired by Solent’s Dr Zahida Shah, they discussed black-owned businesses, shared their experiences as business owners, and provided details of support available locally.
