Our Version Media’s twice-yearly film night showing Black British films. There’s just one rule for the films we show: no black trauma! That means no films centred on gang violence, drugs, slavery or the negative black storylines that mainstream cinemas love to show.

Film: Rye Lane

A romantic comedy starring Vivian Oparah (Class, The Rebel) and David Jonsson (Industry, Deep State). Two twenty-somethings both reeling from bad break-ups connect over an eventful day in South London.
